I have basically no jaw and a double chin.
Dear crkirkwd,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit form chin liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
In order to sharpen up your neck and jaw region I would recommend a combination of procedures. First I would suggest liposuction to the neck area to get rid of some of the excess fat you are visualizing from your frontal and profile view. Next I would recommend augmenting your chin with either a fat transfer or a chin implant. This can be decided in office based on how sharp we want the chin to be and how much projection is necessary for your particular case. The two procedures together will provide you with a really nice and natural result that brings more balance to your facial structure. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office consultations with board certified experts to discuss your ideal aesthetic goals. This way, they can better assess your face and create an ideal treatment plan for you. Best of luck, Kian Karimi MD, FACS
