Advice to heal severe reaction to surgical tape? (Photos)

This is a severe allergic reaction to surgical tape. This would need to be treated with local steroid creams.

Just follow the prescription of your doctor as it will help combat the uncomfortable rashes and blisters you’re getting. Aside from that, make sure that you always clean the allergy site thoroughly. Avoid scratching them to avoid further irritating them.
The blistering might start to subside within a week, though you can expect the redness and irritation to last a few weeks longer.Be sure to attend your follow-up consultations with your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon.

Your doctor's recommendation is just right. I've had patients with similar reactions and the rash and blistering will subside with the topical steroid treatment and will not leave any permanent mark.
