Labiaplasty revision - Looking for new surgeon to correct appearance of 3 majoras (photo)

From What I cen see in your well documented outcome, there is definitely a possibility of complete reconstruction in order to obtain results that are 100% to your satisfaction. I see redundant tissue in the labia minora and probably in the Labia Majora too. The most important pre-operative stage is careful aesthetic planning in order to know exactly what you expect from your new surgery in order to deliver results.

Hard to say what technique your previous surgeon did but the asymmetry is normal (as is in everyone). Also not sure if the surgeon encountered anything during the procedure that limited their aggressiveness in removal, but does seem like there might be more to remove. Likely you need a revision but be ready for some risks of more scarring (longer incisions to fix or remove any excess), necrosis (because this will be your second time blood supply is not as good as first time), open wounds post-op (same reason as the necrosis), and more asymmetry or need for further revision. And not sure if you are open to a clitoral hood reduction - that can sometimes help pull some of the labia minoras up some. You can try to massage the area where the swelling and scarring is to see if that will help with time.

Typically depending on the amount of scar, most revision labiaplasties can be completed comfortably in the office under local anesthesia. If weight change occurred, in extreme cases this can deflate the mons as well as the labia majora. In these instances fat grafting can be added onto the procedure to help with the volume loss issue. Hi, sorry to hear of your troubles. You have not specified the nature of the procedure, did you have a labia majora augmentation? Was it done with fat or dermal fillers.
Assuming that the first picture is the before picture, you can clearly see a zone of adhesion or tethering of skin on the one side, this might be the reason for the postop asymmetry, it is best to get a second opinion by visiting another plastic surgeon.

In my opinion, the best revision technique for you would be what I (in Sacramento, CA) call "airbrushing," and what Dr. Red Alinsod (in Dallas) would term "feathering." (Same thing.) This is a procedure where a radiofrequency needle is used as a "brush" to, layer-by-layer, "brush off" the surface irregularity, allowing new, smoother skin to form underneath. Q: Will corrective surgery improve the external genitalia look?

A: Yes, it will significantly improve the external genitalia's look. The revision surgery must address the following structures:

1. Reduction of the clitoral hood (the clitoral prepuce) and clitoral prepuce orifice,
2. Clitoral frenulopasty,
3. Labia minora reconstruction (not repeating labium minus amputation) with neurovascular bundle preservation (a new surgical technique developed by Ostrzenski),
4. Restoration of the labia minora frenulum.
5. It isn't easy to decide on pictures, and clinical evaluation will be very helpful.

Labia majora restoration:
1. Identify clinically site-specific defect (most likely, the surgeon opened an adipose sac, creating herniation since it is getting larger in standing position). (This technique was also developed and published in medical literature by Ostrzenski),
2. Restoration of the adipose sac will eliminate the appearance of "third labium minus appearance)
