Microneedling a burn scar after an open rhinoplasty with a fascia graft. Is this safe?

I under went an open rhinoplasty, with a temporal fascia graft 1 year and 8 months ago. I had the surgery to reconstruct my nose tip after suffering burn (3 years ago). My skin had thinned due to the burn and my cartilage was more prominent. The surgery acted to “pad out” this area. Surgery went well and all swelling has gone. I still have a scar from the burn (cannot see my surgical scar). The scar is on my nose tip and is indented. I would like to improve the texture of this and I hate the depressed area. The scar is small - 1cm in diameter. The indentation is very small and in the middle of the scar. It can look like I have a hole in my nose in certain lighting. I would like to try microneedling the scar. Is this safe after the open rhinoplasty/fascia graft? I am not keen for laser treatments or dermal filler. I would like to improve overall texture and raise the indented area to blend in with the rest of my skin. I would like several opinions on microneedling, as well as asking my surgeon. Thank you.
