Hello, I am 21 years old and have been insecure about the roundness of my face and chubbiness of my cheeks so much that this led me to develop an eating disorder last year. I wanted to ask whether I am a good candidate for buccal fat removal or whether I should not do this/do you recognise something different.

Thank you for your question and photos. You may want to consider Botox injections to provide a slimming effect to the lower third portion of the face.  When injected into the masseter muscle, its size is reduced and the jawline appears slenderized and more defined. Botox treatments can also be combined with hyaluronic acid dermal filler injections to provide a subtle lift and accentuate specific facial contours. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector. They will be able to discuss your concerns with you and help you decide on the best treatment option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

I do not think this procedure would give you the results you desire.  Removing the buccal fat may add lines to the side of your mouth when you smile.   An in person consultation may be better to understand your concerns and how to address them.
