I got my breast augmentation done just over 2 years ago and I was never In love with the result but now I can’t look past the space between the cleavage and the side of my breast feeling like it’s always rubbing off my inner arm. I got 330cc under muscle.
Answer: Lateral displacement Dear sydneyy2000, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Revision Most likely what has happened is the muscle has contracted and extruded the implants inferiorly and laterally. You will need the pockets plicated inferiorly and laterally to raise them higher and more medial. You may need to place the implants in front of the muscle. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lateral Implant displacement It would be helpful if we could see preoperative photos, however you do have a nice result. If I had to bet, I would say that preoperatively your breasts were far apart to begin with and that you have naturally a big space in your cleavage. This is because when you look at your postoperative frontal view, you nipple/areola complex are very well centered on your implants. That tells me that naturally your breasts are spaced with apart, and some women are just built that way. Now...can tightening the lateral pocket help bring the implants inward some, the answer is yes. But by doing that, your nipple/areola complex will become out of harmony with your implants and will push outwards. Hope that helps.

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. You do have a satisfactory aesthetic result, but your breasts do fall to the side and have droop. I have been in practice for over 30 years and revisionary breast surgery is a large portion of my practice. You would benefit from a internal bra-capsulorrhaphy as well as a breast lift. You should be able have an excellent result. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Breast augmentation Thank you for posting your question here!My answer will be based on the limited information and pictures provided , for a detailed and personalized plan I would recommend consulting with your surgeon in person. It is hard to tell if your breasts have lateral displacement without a pre-operative pictures, that being said you do have some asymmetry one side appears to be a little more lateral and a little lower than the other. If it bothering you , you can always discuss with your surgeon , potentially they can perform a capsulorrhaphy or try to improve symmetry with a mesh ...etc. or improve medial fullness by fat grafting.I hope this helps, best of luck !
