You can drink alcohol after you are done with your antibiotics it should not be a problem just make sure you stay hydrated, best of luck.
Hi, If you are taking antibiotics/painkiller, you should wait until you finish taking them. However a glass of wine or beer (I would avoid spirits-gin-vodka-wisky) at least 2 hours before or after your medication will not kill you and will not affect the result or the healing process.
Good afternoon and thank you for your question. As others have noted, it is best to hold off on consuming any alcohol until you have finished taking your full load of antibiotics as prescribed by your plastic surgeon. Best of luck with your procedure and I hope you have a speedy recover.
You need to wait until you stop taking your sedating pain relief medication. Adding alcohol to the pain meds can cause dangerous drowsiness.
Your focus needs to be on recovering from surgery. Stay away from alcohol for 2 weeks, and don't drink at all if you are taking prescription pain medication. Good luck!
Hi there,There should not be an issue have a drink a day or two after your surgery. Make sure the effects of your anaesthetic have worn off and you don't mix antibiotics, analgesics and alcohol. Avoid drinking too much and stay well hydrated and pain free. That is key.All the best
Hi there Tina,I would at least wait until you get home!!!!Seriously a glass of alcohol will not be detrimental. As with all things in your postoperative period, moderation is the key.Best wishes for your recoveryRichard

I tell my breast reduction patients to sleep in any position they find most comfortable after their procedure. I don't think sleeping position affects the final outcome of a breast reduction procedure. Most women choose not to sleep on their stomach right after their procedure.Best of luck to you!
