I’m writing this review two months after my DIEP flap reconstruction surgery. Dr. Lisa Schneider was recommended to me after I was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer. After my first visit, I knew she was the surgeon I could trust with my life. The level of professionalism and communication I received at Row Surgery (Dr. Schneider’s office) was exceptional. Every step of the process was explained clearly and in a way that was easy to understand—especially important as this was my first experience with something of this magnitude. My phone calls were answered after just one ring, and even when I called on the weekend, my call was returned immediately. Everything—from my hospital and test bookings to insurance clearance—was handled seamlessly, which made a huge difference during such a difficult time. Dr. Schneider is not only a brilliant surgeon but also a truly compassionate person. Her empathy during those hard days made me feel seen, special, and genuinely cared for. She understood me deeply and went above and beyond to ensure I achieved the best aesthetic result possible. My recovery was smooth and remarkably quick, considering the complexity of the surgery. I had follow-up appointments every other week, and I was able to video call anytime I had a concern or question. The team made me feel like I was their top priority. Most importantly, when I look at myself today, I can hardly believe I underwent an eight-hour surgery. I look and feel great. Everything is well-balanced and proportionate, and I have no pain. The tummy tuck that came with this procedure was a bonus—I truly look amazing. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Schneider and her incredible team to anyone who feels like life is over or fears they’ll never recognize themselves again. Dr. Schneider will not only restore you—she’ll leave you feeling even better than before. That was my experience, and I am endlessly grateful to her and every member of her wonderful team.
I had my breast reduction at this office nine months ago, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. I'm absolutely in love with the results—it has been life-changing, significantly relieving my back pain and improving my posture. The entire staff is warm, approachable, and always willing to help. They respond to all my questions promptly and make scheduling follow-up appointments easy.
I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Rowe. I had a breast reduction and I could not be more happy with my results. He takes the time to get to know his patients and what their needs are. Additionally, all the staff in the NYC office are so friendly and I felt very well taken care of. They do an amazing job of making the whole process, from booking my first consultation to my surgery day, so seamless. I highly recommend Dr. Rowe and Rowe Plastic Surgery for any of your surgical needs!
Male, 60, did my first botox appt today in West Palm Beach. Dr. Rowe and team were extremely thorough, patient, and informative. I did not feel any "selling" pressure whatsoever, and the whole experience felt collaborative and extremely high quality from start to finish. Dr. Rowe explained his approaach to cosmetic work and impressed me with his artistry and care, as well as careful diligence. His PA was also extremely helpful and knowledgeble, and knew a tremendous amount. Everything seemed top notch, and I would feel very comfortable recommending a more elaborate procedure to anyone.
I had a great experience with Jacqui for my botox for gummy smile. She was quick, painless, and has a light touch. I did not bruise. Very happy with my results! Additionally, Jacqui went above and beyond to give me additional tips for my skincare treatment plan.
Just left the Palm Beach office. My appt was with the PA Jacquie. She is fabulous. From the moment I walked in, the experience was seamless and professional. Jacquie took the time to carefully listen to my concerns, explaining every step! I highly recommend her.
My experience at Rowe Plastic Surgery was nothing short of five stars. Jacquie was so well educated on all things skin & injectables. She was careful and precise with my botox treatment, and gave me exactly what I wanted; natural & tight. The office is clean and conveniently located on the island. I look forward to my next appointment!
My experience with Dr. Lisa Schneider has been life changing. Please allow me to begin by sharing some background information as to what lead me to Rowe Plastic surgery and more specifically with Dr. Lisa Schneider. My life changing experience began with Rowe Plastic Surgery a few years prior to my breast augmentation in October of 2024! As I became older my breast became larger, dense and extremely difficult to deal with. I became conscious of my breast size which affected my confidence, self esteem and well being. I became my very own critic, I became very uncomfortable working out assuming others were looking at my breast rather than me as a person at the gym. I did not find my breast attractive. I found them to be a true nuisance and unattractive. I began the process for a breast augmentation to feel more confident and boost my self esteem. I started by googling Plastic Surgeons in NYC. My first search landed with Rowe Plastic Surgery at 820 Park Place in NYC. I noticed 5 stars across the board and read just a few reviews. After reading the reviews and looking at office personnel I knew I had found a place that would take care of my health needs and never looked back. I called Rowe Plastic and spoke with Lily during my first initial call. Lily was sweet, kind and compassionate. Lily gathered all my information and began the process with the insurance company. Lily spent quality time with me on the phone and never acted as is she did not have time to speak with me. After that initial call I knew I was in good hands. Unfortunately my insurance provider denied my request for a breast augmentation due to their specifications. Lily was very sorry for the outcome with my insurance company. Lily assured me I could work with them with other payment options. At the time my family was not in a financial position for me to move forward. I was determined to put money aside and take care of myself in a few years. Moving forward to September of 2023 I was diagnosed with Stage 1a ductal breast carcinoma. I found a provider in upstate NY where I live to take care of my breast cancer needs. I had a breast reduction on the cancer breast along with a lumpectomy with two different surgeons. Following my radiation treatments I went for a six month follow up with my upstate plastic surgeon. I shared with him I was concerned with the shape of my breast, the size and scarring. I knew I needed to find a new plastic surgeon. I decided I was not going back to my upstate provide after being totally dissatisfied. I knew Rowe Plastic would fulfill my needs and wants. I called Rowe Plastic once again and spoke with lily. I shared with lily what I had been going through and shared my cancer diagnosis with her. Lily confirmed their office could assist me and once again showed compassion and kindness. Lily gathered my insurance information to be approved . Lily called me to let me know my insurance approved the procedure and scheduled an in person consult with Dr. Lisa Schneider in the NYC office. During my initial appointment with Dr Schneider, I had spent the week at NYU sleeping on a hard futon that week as my husband was having complications from heart surgery. I was tempted to cancel my appointment. I decided I needed to go. I walked out to of my office appointment feeling fulfilled and my cup was full and running over. That day I met such a sweet and compassionate soul, Dr. Schneider. She shared with me she could fix what was making me unhappy with my breast and assured me she loved her job and what she does. Dr. Schneider's bedside manners exceed professionalism, kindness and compassion. My breast augmentation was completed in October 2024. Dr Schneider’s bed side manners that day were extraordinary and compassionate. I am ever so grateful with the results. I also want to shout out to Besiana Rugova. Besiana’s bedside manners leaves one feeling comfortable and confident. Thank you everyone at Rowe Plastic Surgery for your professionalism especially Dr.Lisa Schneider. Best regards, Sandra Sandra Moore
Dr. Scheneider did an amazing job with my breast reduction. The whole process involving evaluation, insurance approval and the procedure was smooth, fast and easy. The staff at RPS were all very nice, attentive and helpful, thanks for that. On surgery day, Dr. Scheneider was very emphatic and kind with me, she explained everything in details about the procedure, which helped me to calm my nerves; then after surgery, there was not pain at all. I also want to thanks the wound care specialist and the follow up doctor who took care of my incisions and educated me and my mother on how to perform a proper wound care and the treatment needed to aid in my wound healing. I am in love with my breast now, no more back pain and I can wear the clothes style that I always wanted to wear. Thank you so much Dr Scheneider, you really change my life!!!
I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Rowe Plastic Surgery! Not only was Dr. Schneider kind, encouraging and skilled, but everyone in the office was so warm and kind at every stage of the process. I feel beyond satisfied with my results and could not have asked for a better experience!
Sorry to hear you have this problem. KeIoids are tough. The mainstay of keloid management is compression, usually with silicone. This can be difficult on a nipple or an earlobe. Steroid or other medication injections can help soften the keloid and decrease inflammation. Resection of the keloid is also an option, but there is a chance of recurrence. Radiation directly to the area after excision has been shown to decrease reoccurance in recalcitrant keloids. These are often all done in conjunction with one another. I encourage you to see a board certified plastic surgeon to find a good treatment option.
Congratulations on losing weight. I always recommend waiting until you are at your goal weight to proceed with surgery. The last thing you or your surgeon would want is to perform a surgery only to need a revision a few months later because your weight was not stable. I typically recommend waiting until your weight has plateaued for 3 months or so before proceeding. Typically large gaps may be corrected with proper implant placement while no gap, or symastia, can be a little harder to treat and can require other techniques. However, all of this ultimately depends on your chest anatomy. Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon to come up with a good plan for you.
Any surgery is major surgery. Breast augmentation is no different. First of all, breast implants are not meant to last your lifetime, so it is important to know that even in cases without complications you will likely need to get the implants exchanged at some point. Each implant manufacturer has specific warranty information based on their products. Breast implant illness (BII), although not a medical diagnosis, is concerning to many patients. It is poorly characterized and consists of cluster of symptoms that don't fit into any known disease diagnosis. The actual number of patients with BII is unknown as there haven't been any studies on this yet. There seems to be an association of BII among patients with autoimmune diseases, however, anyone is potentially at risk. To get more information on the risks of getting breast implants visit a board certified plastic surgeon.
Patients should feel comfortable and confident with their surgeon. Be sure to ask any details or clarifying questions about the surgery that have not been covered to your satisfaction. In terms of inquiring about your surgeons qualifications there are several questions that should put your mind at ease. First, your surgeon should be board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Asking about their training is not rude, however, a lot of that information can be found on their websites. You should ask how many of the these procedures your surgeon does a year, how many flap losses they have had, and what are the most common complications. Ask about what hospitals the physician operates at and be sure you are comfortable with them. Other questions you may want to ask is do you perform other types of flap surgery or other types of breast reconstruction. Ask if they have any previous patients you might be able to talk to, and look for before and after photos. Seek more than one opinion. Asking questions should not provoke defensive responses, and be wary of the surgeon who disparages their colleagues.
Based on what you have reported, you have some excessive scaring causing an aspect of your breast to be tethered. The best way to correct this is typically to remove the scar tissue. Some asymmetry between breasts is normal. However, when it is bothersome there are options to correct it including fat grafting as well as repeat surgery. Breast implants will provide some upper pole fullness as well as volume. They are not designed to last a lifetime, can have added complications, and come with company specific warranties. Best to speak to a board certified plastic surgeon. Prices can vary dramatically depending on who you see.
