I am currently a 34FF (UK) and I am seeking a breast reduction and lift. I am concerned about the scarring from the surgery which seems to be more prominent than getting a breast augmentation. From the pictures I have seen from some breast reductions with no implants the breast seems to look more flatter especially at the the top of the breast. I was wondering if it would therefore be better to get a reduction in line with implants. I heard gummy bear implants can look quite natural.

Answer: Breast re I would sit with an experienced PS and look at example of breast reduction only and breast reduction with fat transfer / implants to understand what is possible in patients such as yourself. Personally I think that you would be best to consider a reduction initially and consider implants secondarily.

Answer: Breast Reduction with Implants? The first question you need to ask yourself is if you want to be bigger or smaller than your current size. If you want to be bigger, then augmentation and mastopexy might be a possibility. If you want to be smaller, then breast reduction alone into her best bet. Remember, if you are not pleased with flattening of the top of the breast after breast reduction, you can always have augmentation. It is not wise to do a reduction and augmentation together, however.Your board certified plastic surgeon will be able to evaluate you in person and give you good options. Best of luck to you!
