Ptosis overcorrection. Any thoughts as to what I should do? Will massage and time help correct this? (photos)

I had my second ptosis surgery 8 days ago - my first surgery made no difference to the eye and it dropped again, this surgery the eyelid has been stitched much tighter by my surgeon and has resulted in an over correction. The surgeon mentioned at the time it was better to over correct as he believed the lid would relax and drop. I'm very concerned as the eye looks awful and is hung up when I look down.
