Dr. Levin is the best!! She corrected my left eye ptosis beautifully. It came out perfectly and with minimal discomfort. She is kind, professional, highly skilled, and genuinely cares! She made me feel so comfortable from initial consult, the day of the procedure and follow up. She has my highest recommendation!
Best of the best! Dr. Levin made me feel comfortable about my surgery and educated me on the procedure. (Eye) had the same procedure done previously by another surgeon and the issue came back. Dr. Levin was able to remove the growth and fix the problem. Thank you Dr. Levin (capillary hemangioma removal)

As a 43-year-old mother of two, I had been plagued with under eye bags since childhood and was tired of being told I looked exhausted. I'm very apprehensive about surgery so I was impressed with Dr. Flora Levin's patience in explaining my options. We decided that Restylane injections into the tear trough would eliminate the pronounced look of the line. I also asked her to fill in a few of the "smokers lines" on my upper lip. Dr. Levin thoroughly explained how she would perform the procedure; what to expect during the healing process and when I could expect to see the results. She had her wonderful assistant apply a light numbing cream to the area 20 minutes prior to the procedure. Dr. Levin proceeded to inject restylane into the tear trough and along the vermilion border of my lips. The procedure was easy and painless. She used a cannula to minimize the bruising and swelling, pausing throughout in order to evaluate the look. Dr. Levin was meticulous and worked carefully until she achieved a symmetrical, optimal outcome.
Dr. Levin is amazing! Her consultations are great and make you feel at ease and comfortable...not easy when someone is going to come at your eyes with a needle! I previously saw Dr. Levin last year and she used Belotero to fill in the gap in my tear trough area to camouflage my under eye bags. I loved the result! This lasted a good 10 months for me. When I came back in to get the procedure done again, she recommended using Restylane in the tear trough (as it seems to last longer in patients) and Restylane Lyft in my upper cheek area. She explained that this would help to lift up the cheek to also help get rid of the bags under my eyes in addition to a little bit of the regular Restylane for the tear trough area. I was super nervous about getting cheek filler as I did not want to look weird, not like my self, "done", etc... BUT I do trust her judgment and experience in this field, so I went ahead with both SO HAPPY I DID. It looks amazing!! (price above was for a syringe of each - sorry no drop down for both!). She also used a cannula this time to inject the filler which was much less painful vs. the multiple needle injection technique I had with the Belotero. I also had practically no bruising at all this time, which was definitely not the case last time! I went to work the very next day with no bruises to cover!Super happy and would definitely recommend her!
I was tired of hearing. You look so tired. I knew it was time. I was turning 56 and I had been thinking about this for a couple of years and in those years I consulted of few doctors. But I never felt he/she was a fit. Then, I meet Dr. Flora Levin. She had the most impressive of credentials. She had a natural approach to not doing anything over the top. I could not make my appointment quick enough. I Instinctively knew I was in great hands. I am happy to say she delivered beyond my expectations and I am ecstatic with the results. If you are reading this. Look no further. She is a home run!!
I wanted to address deepening lines between my brows, on my forehead, and around my eyes, as well as sagging jowls--but without surgery. It was also important to me not to look as if I had had work done. I've been thrilled with injectables. The ones just above the mouth are sometimes slightly painful and leave bruises, but it's well worth it. The resulting lift is amazing and lasts for a long time.
What an amazing experience! Having the ptosis surgery on both eyelids was something I had put off for several months, but it was definitely interfering with my vision. I needed to hold my eyelids up manually by the end of the day, and I could not see all of the notes on the staff. Being a pianist, this was most disconcerting. Dr. Flora Levin of Doctor and Associates in Norwalk, Ct. was wonderful. She explained everything so carefully and made sure my eyes were ready for the surgery. She listened to me and I listened to her and I would highly recommend her for any surgical procedure related to the eye. Great experience!
think of the soak as more of a compress - take a few soaked gauze and lay them over your face for about 20 minutes. In the first few days i suggest doing so every 2-3 hours. then apply a thin layer of aquaphor or another healing cream your provider may have given you. When you are ready for the next compress, gently wash the face, do NOT scrub it or you will irritate the skin.
although the downtime is usually only a few days, it is possible for the skin to be red for a few weeks and even up to 2 months, if the treatment was aggressive. this can usually be covered effectively with makeup. vitamin C can also help reduce redness (just make sure you don't start using it too soon after laser as to not irritate the skin). For patients considering the treatment before an event where they have to look their best, I usually suggest doing it 3 months prior.
what you are describing sounds like dermatitis. this may be allergic from a product you used, or scrubbing the skin too hard. its best to have the treating provider take a look, to ensure there is no infection. the skin after the laser is very sensitive and can be easily irritated.
I tell patients to wait 2-3 weeks post-filler and encourage them to make a follow-up appointment to be seen in that time frame on the day of their treatment. That is usually enough time to reliably assess the results. Prior to 2 weeks there can still be swelling that does not give you the "final picture".
Juvederm usually attracts a significant amount of water and is therefore not my preferred product to use in the eyelids. If the swelling is persistent after a few weeks (you can try an anti-histamine), I suggest you return to the injector and have them dissolve it. It may take more than one treatment to dissolve everything. You can then re-assess and decide if surgery is the best option. Not every patient is a candidate for fillers to correct undereye dark circles.
