Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. These procedures usually cause some swelling around the treatment area, which typically subsides within 1-2 weeks. You should see results from your liposuction within a couple of weeks as swelling goes down. It will take some time to see full results from ThermiTight, as your body produces new collagen strands within the dermal structure. This process can take up to six months. As long as you are working with an experienced, board-certified physician, you should see very good results at this point.

ThermiTight works by heating the deep tissues of the skin with radiofrequency energy, causing the collagen to contract and stimulating the body to create more collagen. This is a process that takes time to accomplish. Over the months after your ThermiTight treatment, your body will be producing and using new strands of collagen to create a thicker, stronger support matrix for your skin. You should see the effects by the six-month mark. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will get you the best results. 

This is something that should be discussed with your plastic surgeon as they know the exact details of the procedure that was performed. The jowl liposuction will have swelling that will take 4-6 weeks to settle. However, realize the tissues will be settling out over several months. The Thermi tight will take months to fully settle. This does not mean that you will be swollen during this time period. Most patients will experience some "tingling" in the area that was treated.
