Does ThermiTight or ThermiRF create a better result for gynecomastia surgery when paired with lipo and breast tissue removal?

Thank you for the detailed question. If you have a lot of breast tissue, when it is a removed you can end up with loose skin that should be tightened with a laser. I prefer to use ultrasound liposuction or laser liposuction for gynecomastia to help tighten the skin during surgery, but it is possible to use Thermitight to tighten the skin in that area as well. I appreciate your question, but I am unable to guess whether ThermiTight would be a good choice for you without seeing you in person in my office. There are different factors that go into determining whether a tightening treatment would be needed, including the amount of breast tissue that will be removed and the current elasticity of your skin. It is always easiest to perform the gynecomastia treatment and skin tightening at the same time. However, you can also opt to have the gynecomastia treatment first and see how your skin conforms to the new contour. If laxity is a concern after your treatment, you can always undergo ThermiTight at a later time. 

I often find that gynecomastia can be treated well with VASER hi def combined with ThermiRF and fat transfer to the chest. However, if there is any large amount of gland tissue, a small excision makes the end result much better and has very little risk of scarring. Thank you for your question. It is difficult to say how much you would benefit from the addition of ThermiTight without examining you. Regardless, there would be some added benefit. The way I would view there answer is that they feel you would get a better overall result with the additional skin tightening but since historically they have done this procedure without the ThermiTight you would still get an "acceptable result".
