Is it common for your lips to tingle for months after getting lip injections?

I got my lip injection in April of last year a few months later my lips started to tingle a few months later. They will tingle if I drink cold drinks or just randomly it has gotten better now it went from tingles everyday to once every 2 weeks. Is this normal?

Tingling immediately following lip injections is very common, but tingling for months afterward is not. I suggest scheduling a follow-up appointment with the doctor that performed the initial procedure for a full assessment. Good luck to you!

Prolonged tingling is not common after a filler treatment.  Some patients will have minor tingling the first day or so, but for it to last several months is not expected.  I recommend contacting your injector for an evaluation.

No, prolonged tingling after lip filler treatment is not something that I have seen in my practice with my own patients. I would followup with your injector to discuss your concerns.

Normally, they should not tingle at this point but you might have edema and even if it's quite rare, it causes tingling. Drink lots of water and if you still have complaints, see your doctor!
