Flat after BBL, what should I do? 2 weeks post op.

In order to give you a good opinion and advice, its necessary to have pre and post operative photos. That said,  after liposuction and BBL there is a process of swelling that undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery.  The later phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens.  It is after this time that we are getting close to the final result, though this varies patient to patient. Best is to address your concerns to your specific surgeon so that he/she can take a look. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your lipo bbl, it is hard to give you an opinion without any before and after pictures an in person consultation with a board certified PS would be the best thing to be able to properly advise and evaluate.

 Thank you for your question. I am very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. In order to give you an opinion on your issue it is essential to have proper preoperative and postoperative photos. It would also be helpful to know how much fat actually was transferred. Let me just warn you not to take any desperate measures and have crazy injections done because you spent so much money.  Sit down together with your doctor and look at the before and after pictures and have a preliminary evaluation. Without seeing pictures both before and after and doing an exam, it is difficult to give you a great answer.  I would recommend that you voice your concerns to your surgeon and continue to follow up.  A revision may be needed at a later time.

Dear nthomas05,it is hard to tell without an examination. I would suggest you to wait a few more weeks to see the final results of your surgery. If you aren't satisfied with the results, I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon or ask for a second opinion. Too early to judge on the final result. You are still at the healing stage. The area in your lower back will be still bruised and swollen and this will take 8-12 weeks to settle. Wear your garment and keep your follow up with your surgeon.
You have to give your body at least 12 weeks to start seeing results and final results can take 3-6 months depending the way your body heals.Best of Luck!

At two weeks out from surgery, it is way too early to determine what your final result will be.  Swelling from the liposuction alone takes months to resolve.  I would recommend staying in close contact with your plastic surgeon throughout your healing process, and I would not recommend any revision procedure(s) until you are around a year out from surgery.

Right now you are swollen and other areas around the buttocks may be swollen which may mask your results a bit.  

You are still in early stages of healing, so wait a few more weeks and discuss your concerns with your surgeon. If you are still not satisfied with your results you can consult with another surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field. It is difficult to assess your results with no photos.
