Why has my hair not grow properly after Hair Transplant?

The main reason for hair not growing with full density after a hair transplant is the techniques used for transplantation and the density created during the procedure.  If you transplant a small number of hair follicles in a large area the results are not going to be very thick.  There might be some other less common reasons like other dermatologic conditions that may affect normal hair growth.  The best is to be seeing by a good hair transplant surgeon and be evaluated for this condition.

It sounds like you're not happy with the density of your transplant.  The density of hair growth from your transplant is determined by the number of grafts and what hair you started with.  It is possible to improve density by transplanting to the same recipient site a year later. 

No results in medicine are guranteed.  You can have a transplant and get no growth. Just like you can be treated for cancer and still not cure the cancer.

The transplanted hair needs to go through its intrinsic cycle of growth. It usually starts to. Grow in after three months and continues to grow in for up to eighteen months after the procedure.
