14 months post op. London, UK I was hoping to get a second opinion on my nose. The two main concerns I’m struggling with are: 1. The cartilage in my tip appears boxy and pointy. I wasn’t aware that a graft would be used in my procedure, and I’m struggling with how firm and solid my nose feels. When I move my mouth, my nose remains completely stiff, and the skin over the tip stretches tightly, causing visible blanching, particularly when I smile. 2. The right side of my nose appears sharper than the left, and I’ve noticed that breathing through my right nostril is more restricted compared to before surgery. Additionally, when I take a deep breath, the skin between my nostril and the nasal bone on the right side visibly inflates and deflates, which looks quite unusual. My surgeon has suggested filler to fix my concerns but I'm not sure this is the best approach.
