My original implants never really dropped and fluffed. I had round high implants under the muscle and it stayed at a very high position. so my surgeon did a revision for a capsulectomy as I had some scar tissue and a pocket adjustment to lower the implant. I'm 2 weeks post op and its lower and a bit rounder than before. but still not fully dropped and rounded at the bottom. Does a revision go through the same swollen and drop and fluff process. will it continue to soften and drop/fluff more
Answer: Implant settling after capsulectomy Dear Jubilant172626, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 2 weeks post op.You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Answer: Settling Yes, you will need to give the breasts time to heal and settle just as with the first procedure. This can take several weeks. Be sure to keep follow up appointments with your surgeon and discuss any concerns.

Answer: Revision You still may yet settle down. Wearing the upper breast chest band can be helpful. If needed, treatments with external ultrasound can help. It can be hard for some high profile implants to drop because of the height.

Answer: Absolutely The dropping of the implant comes from the implant settling into its new pocket, and this occurs from the body forming a new capsule around the implant. Your body must go through the same process during a revision as from the primary surgery. This can take up to 3-6 months to see your final result

Answer: Capsulectomy It's normal for breast implants to go through a "settling" process after surgery, where they drop and settle into a more natural position over time. This process can take several weeks to several months, and it's common for the breasts to appear high and tight immediately after surgery. Since you underwent a revision for a capsulectomy and pocket adjustment, it's possible that the settling process may take longer than usual, or the final results may take longer to see. However, it's important to be patient and allow time for your body to heal and adjust. In general, the drop and fluff process can vary from person to person, and it's difficult to predict exactly how your breasts will look in the end. That being said, your surgeon can provide you with a more specific timeline and expectations for your recovery based on your individual case. It's also important to follow your surgeon's post-operative instructions carefully and attend all follow-up appointments to ensure that you are healing properly and to address any concerns you may have. Best of luck !
