I had a bbl back in July I was in the ER for the first week because I needed a blood transfer & iron however, ever since I had my lipo I’ve have this hard line going across my stomach at the top by my rib cage. Where it is hard on my stomach it pokes out under it, like the fluid or something got stuck there. I’ve had an ultrasound that was clear, I’ve had massage for 6 months idk what else to do, I can’t get the hard line to go away. Any help?
Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Based on the pictures what I recommend you is tummy tuck and a second round of liposuction in your belly and waist to improve your body contour.

Answer: BBL Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Its difficult to tell from the picture where the line is and what it may have been caused by. However, with that said, it may take up to 1.5 years for lines and contour irregularities to improve with diligent massage. An in person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon may help to shed some more light on this. I hope this helps.

Answer: Irregularities after liposuction It is very rare but it happens, that patient may need a blood transfusion after extensive liposuction, in particular if they have been anemic before surgery. Irregularities of the abdomen, based on this photo, seem to be result of uneven liposuction around belly button (most frequently revised area). You also have significant laxity of lower abdominal skin, for which you will need an abdominoplasty. If you are having abdominoplasty, I would not bother with periumbilical and lower abdominal irregularities because it will be addressed with abdominoplasty and associated liposuction. It is very unlikely that your situation will improve only with liposuction. Good luck.

Answer: BBL results Dear LilAnn, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Hard line after liposuction Your post makes it difficult to understand what your concern is. Your abdomen looks like a pretty normal Liposuction outcome for someone who has skin laxity and is in need of a tummy tuck rather than Liposuction. Anything related to your fat distribution cannot be changed on your own or through non-surgical means like massage. When plastic surgeons use proper technique including sufficient amounts of to Massent solution patients should not lose a lot of blood with the BBL procedure. Requiring blood transfusions after a BBL is pretty uncommon. Consider re-posting with a better explanation of what your concern is. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
