When can I wear heels again after a Brazilian Butt Lift?

For most patients strenuous activity can be resumed in 6 weeks. After 6 weeks the fat has revascularized, and they will have a very good idea of their final result.

While the majority of patients are advised to refrain from sitting, lying, or otherwise putting direct pressure on their backside for a minimum of 4 weeks following BBL surgery, this is done to maximize the surgical result. The choice of footwear has no 'hard and fast' rules, but we advise patients to wear sensible shoes that they will fell steady on for the first 4 weeks because they are often standing for more than usual. We prefer standing to sitting, and advocate using a BBL pillow when sitting. It is very hard to stand in heels for prolonged stretches. After 4 weeks patients are free to use any footwear that they want. Again, this is not a 'rule' but an advisement. All the best!
