(330ml (L) 300ml (R). High profile. Over muscle. ) I got my new boobs 6 months ago, and I am overall very happy with the result. My right side boob was always bigger than the left, after the surgery it remained so, but it doesn't concern me.The one thing I'm worried about is that when I lay down my boobs fall to side more than I wanted, especially the right one. I meet my doc recently and he said there was nothing to be worried about, it's absolutely normal that one boob is a little different than the other and it isn't a lateral displacement case.
Answer: Lateral displacement? Your breast position when laying down looks normal and not laterally displaced. Breasts will fall off to the side when laying down and I don't believe this is excessive in your case. Continue to follow with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes, Dr. Aldo

Answer: Asymmetry & Lateral Displacement Concern It's not uncommon for #asymmetry soon after breast surgery as each breast heal quite differently. One breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete #healing, they will be more similar and natural. #Healing will continue for 2-3 months following your #Augmentation #Mastopexy procedure. There may be some swelling, bruising, malposition, color differences. Sensation will be abnormal. Scars will also be changing. But, it can be up to one year see your final result. Your doctor may require you to move or massage the implants within the breast pockets during the #postoperative period. #Textured implants do not require breast massage. You will be informed about this at your post-operative visits.During breast implant surgery a #pocket is created carefully to maintain certain folds on the sides and bottom of the breast. Occasionally, the space for the breast implant becomes too large on the #side of the chest or the tissue stretches and the implants fall too much to the side. This is most easily seen when the patient is lying on her back. At times, the implants can move towards the patient’s armpit. However, per the photos you have provided here, it does not appear you are currently experiencing lateral #displacement due to the spacing of your breasts. You must have patience as you continue to heal. But if there are any causes of concern, ask questions of your doctor or their nursing staff.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Thanks for your question. Yes, I see what you are talking about when you lay down. This is actually not that uncommon, and just means that the implants have a generous pocket in which they are sitting. As long as they look nice in the upright position, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It will keep the breasts feeling soft. Always check back with your surgeon if you have any changes. Best wishes.

Answer: Lateral movement of breast when laying down It is completeley normal for the implants to move laterally when laying down. It occurs to varying degrees depending on tightness of the skin and breast tissue, size of the implant pocket, presence of capsular contracture and shape of your chest wall. How much they move varies from patient to patient and may get a little worse the longer implants have been in. The weight of the implant stretches out the implant pocket and your breast tissue overtime. Gravity is the issue and it is hard to control. The amount of movemnt you have based on your pictures is minimal. A little wider implant may help a little initially but longterm may make it worse due to the increased weight.

Answer: I Agree From the looks of your photographs, I would have to agree with your surgeon that the amount of movement towards the side seems normal to me. Should get to be excessive, then a lateral capsulorraphy or cinching up of the side of the capsule may be necessary. I recommend you follow-up with your chosen plastic surgeon. Congratulations on your surgery.
