Can you reverse neck liposuction?

Question

When I was 21 I was stupid and got my neck lipoed and buccal fat removed. I loved the results. Now I'm 29 and overnight my neck is paper thin, there is no fat at all under my chin, it's starting to look crepey and my jaw line disappeared. I know that it's because I wasn't done developing at 21 and never should have taken fat out. Is there a way to restore volume in my neck? I'd prefer a chubb chin now, it's what makes you look young. i've been doing sculptra along my jaw but my my neck is saggy

A fat transfer to your neck may be an  option. I suggest water-assisted fat harvesting which gives pure fat to transfer and combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) to get the most viable and sustainable fat cells. However, it appears from the photo that you have loose skin t hat can be treated . with proper superficial liposuction (VASER + Jplasma/Renuvion or InMode BodyTite) and/or threadding such a s PDO Novathreads or Instalift.  Ultherapy and/or kybella can also be tried as non invasive options to tighten and sculpt the neck. Best, Dr. Emer

So sorry you are having these issues. Your best option, in my opinion, would be fat transfer to the neck as this may greatly improve the contour irregularities that you describe. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore all options for you. Good luck.

Thank you for your question and photo. The only way you can “reverse” lipo is to undergo fat transfer to the area. Basically fat is harvested from other locations and transferred to your neck.
