I understand the primary reason for a lip lift (which i need and am considering). But would like to know the impact good or bad the procedure has on early vertical lines over top lip and nasal folds. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Answer: Nasolabial folds and lip lines Thank you for your question! Its a very common one that I get during consultations as well. To be honest with you, it depends. What it depends on is the location of the lip lines along the lip margin vs. the entire lip - as we design how much skin will be removed with we can help tailor and redrape that skin such that there is an improvement with them. Sometimes you may also need some fine resurfacing, but cases vary from person to person. Nasolabial folds likewise. Specially the area where the folds connect with the alar groove can be significantly softened. I hope some of this helps!

As the distance is decreased between the nose and the lip, the red lip is 'lifted'. There is typically little to no impact on the nasolabial folds or vertical lip lines.

Answer: Depends upon how you do it Lip lip lifting is a very powerful way to make your mouth look more feminine, youthful, and attractive. The main goal is to create a better role of your upper lip and to show more of your upper teeth. We can certainly reduce some of the wrinkles of the upper lip because the amount of skin present is reduced. The effect on your nasal labial fold would also depend upon how we do the procedure. It is possible to reduce these folds at the same time and get an excellent Improvement.
