Thank you for your question. The Lip Lift procedure is performed to accentuate the size and/or shape of the upper lip by removing skin from the region underneath the nose. As the distance is decreased between the nose and the lip, the red lip is 'lifted'. During the first couple of weeks following this procedure, there is often some 'settling' of the lift, which results in apparent 'dropping'. The experienced surgeon anticipates this in the pre-operative planning and may counsel patients to expect this. There is no meaningful average that can be provided, because the amount of settling differs from patient to patient and is impacted by several factors including patients' adherence to post-procedure instructions and the degree of swelling that results.
hello bentleyThis varies from person to person, i would advice you visit a board certified PS for proper examination.
You have very nice lip contour. I understand your concerns though. There are surgical and non-surgical approaches to lip augmentation. Non-surgical approaches include botox (slight lift, reducing gum show) and filler (volume restoration). Surgically, you can have two separate incisions...

Hello queenyThey are usually brief and done under local anesthesia with quick recovery although some swelling may persist for several weeks. You should visit or contact a board certified PS about your concern.
