Breast pain 10 months post-op - advice? (photos)

Question

Hello and thank you, I'm a mom and dance for fun. My breasts are only 10 months old but the left one hurts all the time. I don't want to live in a state of ongoing pain, and am wondering what I should do? I was told originally I had capsular contracture then was told I didn't. I don't know what to think or do and have lost all trust in my primary surgeon. Please help.

Hello @Honest904703, thank you for your question. In your case, I suggest you have a breast ultrasound analyzed by a mastologist to confirm the source of the pain and to diagnose correctly. First, a description of the type of pain and if anything exacerbates it or reduces it.  
From you photos alone, it does not appear that you have a capsular contracture.  Is one breast significantly firmer than the other??
Depending on the type and cause of the pain, steroid injections or the use of an oral nerve medication (such as Neurontin or Lyrica) may help as well.

I'm sorry to hear of the discomfort you are experiencing.  Your photos don't indicate any obvious capsular contracture.  I encourage you to visit another board certified plastic surgeon in your area for an evaluation if you are no longer confident in your surgeon.
