I had 400cc Silicone implants placed above the muscle in 2015. In 2016, I had a mastopexy. I am now wanting my implants removed but unsure if I will need another lift! I had size D breasts before initial implants (I was told that would help the ptosis and why I initially got implants instead of just the lift.) I know this is my personal choice, but torn on the decision.

Answer: Implant removal Dear tspain14, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. There is a chance that you will need a breast lift after removal of implants. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Should I consider Mastopexy after explant? (photos) In general a lift procedure at the time of explant will offer most patients the best long term results. Also, the larger the implants removed, the more I tend to recommend lift as well. I think you could be very happy with doing the explant and lift together. A formal consultation is necessary and I recommend you work with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
