Answer: Reconstructing Shape Post-Biopolymer Removal: BBL For Reconstruction Hello jasmor, thank you for your question regarding enhancing the shape of your buttocks after biopolymer removal. First off, congratulations on undergoing the biopolymer removal five years ago—a significant step toward better health and safety. Considering your desire for a more natural shape in your buttocks, a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or autologous fat transfer is indeed an excellent option for reconstruction and it’s my preferred method after biopolymer removal. This procedure involves harvesting fat from areas such as your abdomen, back, arms, or thighs, and transferring it to the hips and buttocks. This not only helps in achieving a more aesthetically pleasing and natural contour but also utilizes your body's own tissues, which can lead to better integration and fewer complications compared to foreign materials. Thank you for your question regarding enhancing the shape of your buttocks post-biopolymer removal, and I wish you the best in your journey toward achieving the results you desire. Sincerely, J. Answer: Fat transfer for natural shape A fat transfer can help you get a better and more natural shape, but first your plastic surgeon will want to double-check that a BBL will be safe for you. An MRI or other imaging tests may be necessary to make sure all of the polymer is truly gone and that there isn’t any lurking somewhere that could cause issues. Your surgeon will also need to assess your skin as biopolymers can leave behind irregularities that may impact the results of your BBL. You’re likely to be a good BBL candidate, but a thorough evaluation first is just a good idea.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear jasmor, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, you should be able to get BBL surgery. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: BBL Hello dear. In your case, you can do a fat transfer on your butt to improve the shape and achieve a more natural look, even after a biopolymer removal. But it is essential that I do a complete evaluation of the area to ensure that the skin and underlying tissues are adequate to receive the fat. You can write to us at 829-554-6062 to schedule a consultation.
