30, abdominoplasty or BBL as my goal is to get curves? (Photos)

Thanks for your question. Without additional pictures, it is difficult to provide you with a proper evaluation. That said, the BBL is a great body contouring procedure. The BBL includes 360 lipo - lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks - which is then injected into your buttocks. The result is a small waistline and great projection and curves. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. My suggestion would be lipo 360 and extended tummy tuck with muscle repair. The extended tummy tuck with help give you the curves that you are looking for as well as prevent dog ears.

A BBL can improve the curves of the buttock and an abdominoplasty can reduce the curve of the abdominal wall. You may be a candidate for a BBL which would include only liposuction of the abdominal wall to harvest the fat to transfer the buttock. Other areas may be included to provide more fat and therefore more change to the buttock. If your abdominal wall has fullness or a curve related to fat alone then liposuction can help improve the appearance and flatten the abdominal wall. If the shape and the curve that you have now is because of loose abdominal wall muscles you would need an abdominoplasty to achieve a flat result. An abdominoplasty is much more involved than liposuction but it also is able to treat all three layers of the abdominal wall that give the appearance of roundness including the muscles, fat and skin. The best option for you, especially if you have completed your family, is an abdominoplasty/tummy tuck as well as a BBL, to get a flat stomach as well as to have the curves you are looking for. This can be done in two sessions , getting the liposuction and BBL done first and coming back in a few weeks or months and getting a tummy tuck. I often do all this in a single session. However from this picture I can say you are candidate for a Tummy Tuck (Mini or Full to be determine). Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photo, i does look like you might have some loose skin after BBL surgery. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

It is impossible to give you good advice based on this photo. If you have significant muscle separation of abdominal wall TT should be a priority; doing both TT and fat transfer to buttocks and hips is also a good option. As we age, our skin’s ability to retract after weight loss decreases. Even if your were to lose weight, the excess skin would remain. If your primary goal is to get a flat stomach, an abdominoplasty/tummy tuck would be the way to go, as the recuts diastasis (muscle separation) can be addressed at the same time.
