Difficulty breathing almost two months after breast augmentation?

Question

I had tuberous breasts before my surgery and my surgeon warned me that I might have a slightly prolonged healing period due to this. I also have a very small ripcage and I had 375 and 395 implants placed under the muscle. I had my surgery at the end of May. I had a painful nerve a few weeks after my surgery but had no other complications other than that. For the last 4 days, I’ve been having random pains in my left breast that make it hard to take a deep breath. What could this be? Thank you!

procedure. Although it is impossible to make a diagnosis without an in-person
examination, shortness of breath and pain in your breast could be signs of a
more serious problem. I recommend reaching out to your operating surgeon
immediately for his/her evaluation.

Thank you for your question.  Since you are experiencing pain that causing shortness of breath, my advice would be to follow up with your plastic surgeon for an evaluation.  Likely the pain is caused by healing nerve endings, but best to confirm with an in-person examination.  Good luck.
