Is there any specific location/technique for the lip/mouth incisions when inserting lip implants that will allow for achieving maximum volume in small lips (allowing the most material to fit)?

Lip Implants move and become problematic. There is no way to reposition the implant and fix it in the new position. Your best bet is remove, let it recover then fillers, fat grafting or SILIKON 1000 injection by an experienced injector.
You may be a candidate for a lip lift rather than repeating fillers. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
