Augmentation 8 yrs ago. My breast tissue is low and my implants are high causing the waterfall effect. I had a few consults with board certified surgeons for revision my options 1) explant and wait (not the route I want to go) 2) implant switch with lift. Wondering if I can get a smaller size (i have 350 ccs but want 300ccs) implant switch without a lift to correct waterfall? I do not want lift scars. I appear top heavy & want to get this fixed asap just don’t know what route to take.
Answer: Implants Your implants appear to be in the proper place, but your breasts have sagged. You can have a lift, with or without smaller implants, or place the implants just behind the breasts so you will have larger and sagging breasts.

Answer: Mini lift with small implants or fat transfers The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, the implants can be replaced with smaller ones or fat transfers can be performed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift needed for waterfall ptosis Whether you downsize or explant and replace later, it appears from the photos that a lift is going to be needed to give you the best shape.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Tammyof4, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Explant or lift and implant switch? Thanks for posting your photos. But you are all over the place with requests and restrictions. If you desire an honest surgical opinion you must accept what is stated. You need full lift with smaller implant. Expect fees in the $10,000 ranges. Best to virtual consult...
