Do I need a breast implant revision for my IMF malposition? (Photo)

Question

I’m hoping for input on my left IMF. I was very flat chested after nursing my second baby. I’m 5’3, 125lbs, I had breast aug on 5/25/22- transax, 350cc silicone, submuscular. It appears my PS lowered my left IMF and now my implant is sitting too low. I noticed the problem around 10 days postop. I’m almost positive I’ll need revision, opinions on my preop pics, post op pics with markings and 1 month postop pic. I had an appt yesterday but my PS was sick so it’s been rescheduled for next week

You need to have a revision surgery that includes supporting that left inframammary fold with pocket tightening and a scaffold support system. I would recommend seeing a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with aesthetic surgery training and experience to tackle this type of problem in a safe and efficient manner. breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
