Inner eyelid is wider than my outer 2 years after epicanthoplasty & double eyelid surgery (Photo)

Question

I had epicanthoplasty & double eyelid surgery 2 ago years, but my inner eyelid is wider than my outer eyelid. is it because of the swelling or is my eyelid crease too high? i think that 2 years later swelling should be gone by now, but the area near the corners of my eyes still look very thick and "sausage" like."

Your outer eyelid has a hood on it that would be simple to correct by removing more skin. Also it would look better if the outer corner of you lid goes up instead of down. The outer  scar will need to be lengthened but the overall look will be much nicer. I see this all the time

If you're thinking about fixing droopy eyelids (ptosis) and there's a problem with the medial part of your eyelid drooping more, it's a good idea to consider both levator surgery and reducing the fold on the inside. This can help make your eyes look more even. Sometimes, when the medial part droops, it can make the outer part look bigger. By doing both surgeries together, you can make your eyes look more balanced and natural. So, if the inside drooping is making your eyes look uneven, fixing both the levator and the fold can give you better results and make your eyes look better.
