Simply the best......better than all the rest! As a nurse, I am extremely particular of the Dr's I choose for my healthcare. I had consultations with two other surgeons before I found Dr Burnstine. There was a vast difference in their approach to care. My consultation with Dr Burnstine was very comprehensive. He takes his time to explain procedures and answers all questions. After our consultation, I knew without a doubt that I found the right surgeon.
Dr Burnstine's' surgical skills are excellent, and he exhibits a warm and compassionate approach with his patients. Those qualities are a rare find, especially in today's healthcare.
Each and every staff member exhibit competence with a warm and friendly approach. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like family.
I absolutely love my results. Today, you have many Drs. to choose from who can perform blepharoplasty surgery. And you will probably get reliable results. But if you want excellent results and care, Dr. Burnstine and his team should be your choice.

Dr. Burnstine came highly recommended both by my ophthalmologist and a friend who had her eyelid ptosis surgeries done. He not only lived up to but actually exceeded my expectations! I contemplated having upper and lower blepharoplasty for many years, but never pulled the trigger as I was conflicted about choosing a doctor. I knew that I did not want a surgeon who was going to make me look unlike myself. It was important for me to choose a highly skilled Oculoplastic Surgeon. Upon meeting Dr. Burnstine he told me, “If you want something over-the-top, I can refer you to a colleague in Beverly Hills”. I knew with that statement that I picked the right surgeon who would only refresh my eyes, not reshape my eyes. Later during the consultation, he pointed out that I also had a condition called ptosis (basically a drooping eyelid) in one eye. This was something I had noticed in photos throughout my life, but somehow had just accepted this slight difference. I also chose to correct this condition with the blepharoplasty. Dr. Burnstine has an incredibly caring bedside manner. He is a kind straightshooter and strives only for perfection for the best possible result. I highly recommend Dr. Burnstine and trust his surgical abilities.

Dr. Burnstine is an amazing surgeon and a pleasure to work with. He came highly recommended by my ophthalmologist (who I trust completely) but I had concerns about the surgery...both financial and personal. He made the process both easy and comfortable even in the middle of COVID. He listened to what I wanted, answered questions and his team even helped get the most I could from insurance. I was impressed he insisted on getting old pictures to ensure he could deliver the natural "restoration" I was seeking. Recovery was not bad and overall could not have had a better experience or recommend him more highly.

Dr. Burnstine is such a great doctor. He is so knowledgeable and kind and really a joy to work with. From the first time I met him to my final follow-up, he was really attentive and supportive. I chose to have an upper and lower blepharoplasty as well as fix the ptosis in my eyelids. The results were everything I asked for and more. During the actual procedure, his bedside manner was fabulous. I chose to do a local anesthetic and he really made me feel comfortable the whole procedure. He even called me at home after to check on me and always responded to my silly concerns during my healing. If you are searching for doctors to do your eyes search no more, Dr. Burnstine is THE best.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Burnstine and my experience. Dr. Burnstine's impressive credentials and extensive experience are clear from reading his biography or website. It should also be known that he is the most pleasant, down to earth, easy to talk to physician that I have ever met. You will never leave his office without understanding your options, the pros and cons, with any and all questions answered.

I received upper and lower eyelid surgery. The outcome was exactly as desired. I look less tired, healthier. My eyelids are less heavy. My extreme under eye bags are now completely gone! I highly recommend Dr. Burnstine and these procedures.

For the past couple of years, my eyes were beginning to look heavy. What I noticed in the pictures with family, was that they barely looked open. I saw a couple of other Ocuplastic surgeons before I finally went to see Dr. Burnstine. The other people that I saw never identified that the issue was migrated upper lid filler.
He knew right away that the filler that I had in my upper lids from years ago, had gravitated down and now it was weighing my eyes down. My lids were lower and also the skin in the upper lids had stretched. First, he injected something to begin to dissolve the old filler.
After the filler dissolved ( a couple of weeks), Dr Burnstine recommended a blepharoplasty as well as ptosis surgery to raise the lid
The surgery was performed in his office. I stayed home for about a week to recover and the stitches came out about 8 days after the procedure.
Now 3 months out, and I am thrilled with the results! I have my younger eyes back. The appearance is not noticeable to others, but I can see a big difference!
If you are on the fence about getting ptosis surgery combined with blepharoplasty, go for it! I highly recommend Dr. Burnstine. He was wonderful.

I was recommended to Dr. Burnstine by my Ophthalmologist who knew I needed a competent doctor to repair my eyelid after cancer removal surgery. My first impression of his office staff was how extremely professional and treated patients with a high class of service. That followed into my appointment with Dr. Burnstine where I immediately felt his confidence, guidance, and care in my circumstance. He explained how he could repair and lift my eyelids where I would be very satisfied in reaching my goals. He showed me samples of his work, answered all my questions, and gave me full confidence that he was the right doctor for me. My surgery went extremely well, with no pain only a little discomfort. I'm thrilled with the results and couldn't have asked for a better doctor to have partnered with. His patient care is excellent and you feel his compassion as a driving force in why he became a doctor. I never felt like I was being sold services, but medically guided to fulfill my objectives. He is a masterful doctor.

Dr. Burnstine is a kind, patient, and wonderful surgeon. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is thinking about having eyelid surgery. I had a few concerns with the droopiness one of my eyelid and how my eyes were no longer symmetrical due to this droopiness. Dr. Burnstine was very patient and understanding with all of my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. He makes you feel heard and understood and his work speaks for itself. Even after the surgery Dr. Burnstine made many follow up appoints to see how my results were progressing and allowed me the opportunity to voice all my concerns. I am very happy with my results and would highly recommend him!
