Hello! I am 25 years old and I Really dont like how big my face is compared to my features. It gets so wide when I smile and I get a square shaped face. Will getting buccal fat removal or masseter botox help me get a V shaped face? I’m worried my face would sag with buccal fat removal
Answer: Buccal fat pad removal or Botox injections? What you need to know Hello, and thank you for providing photos along with your question. Based on these images, it appears you can benefit from both buccal fat removal and masseter Botox. A buccal lipectomy is an ideal procedure option for patients who have overly round cheeks that lack definition. In many cases, this additional fullness from the cheek to the jawline is due to an excessively large cheek fat pad. Partial removal of this tissue can help create cheek definition and a slimmer contour in the lower face. Botox injections into the masseter muscle (muscle used for chewing) will help relax the muscle by limiting its movement and preventing it from exerting too much pressure. When it relaxes, it will shrink back and in effect, improves the balance and proportions of the face. It can give your jaw a slimmer appearance and a more tapered and feminine look. The best way to determine your eligibility for any cosmetic procedure is to go for an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. These experts are armed with a better knowledge of facial anatomy, as well as the most advanced surgical and injectable techniques that can achieve the most natural-looking results. During your consultation, your surgeon can assess your facial profile, customize the best treatment plan, and ensure the best possible results.

Answer: Masseter Botox If your aesthetic goal is to taper down the lower third of your face, there are a few different options. Buccal fat removal is ideal for patients with excess buccal (cheek fat). This would provide lasting results that do not require touchups. If you are looking for a more temporary, less invasive option you may consider masseter reduction with Botox. It would benefit you to follow up with a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a full physical examination to determine which treatment option is best for you. Looking at computer-morphed images with your surgeon during consultation will give you a good idea of what is possible, and also give you a great chance to convey to your surgeon what you envision. @drdonyoo

Answer: Buccal fat removal with BOTOX masseter reduction. Hi , According to your photo , your problem is caused by both buccal fat and masseter muscles. The chubby cheek when you smile is caused by the buccal fat. I suggest to do buccal fat removal. By my surgical technique : After taking the fat out , you'll not have a saggy cheek because I'll suture your cheek muscles for tightening your cheek. Another advantage of buccal fat removal is to make your face more symmetry. If you see your smile photo , you would see that both sides are not the same. This problem is caused by the different size and position of the buccal fat each side. Your square shaped face is caused by big masseter muscles that can be reduced by using BOTOX injection. Hope you get an idea for solving your problem.
