Everyone has some degree of buccal fat. However, I think this procedure tends to benefit people with fuller faces. Your face appears to be fairly slim. If you are looking to achieve a more sculpted look and highlighting your cheek bones, you can consider buccal fat removal. Given your already slim face, however, you do run the risk of looking older.
Hello, and thank you for your question. A buccal lipectomy might be an ideal option for patients who have overly round cheeks that lack definition. Based on your photo, however, you don’t seem to have excessively large cheek fat pads. Only a personal evaluation can determine if you are a candidate for buccal fat removal. A surgeon can also explain the benefits and risks of any kind of procedure with you. Other less invasive procedures you can consider include Botox and dermal filler injections to give the face a non-surgical facelift, lasers, or RF microneedling (Profound RF or Virtue RF) to renew and tighten the skin. A combination of procedures can offer optimum results as well. The best way to determine the best approach to achieving your goals would be to schedule an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can assess your skin, customize the best treatment plan, and ensure the best possible outcome.
Thank you for your question. Based on the picture you appear to be good candidate for this procedure. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Generally, it provides more definition and contour to the lower face. The procedure us performed in the office with local anesthesia or IV sedation. It will not change your bite and the incision is on the inside.
Dear Babylifter thank you for your question!Based on your photo I think buccal fat removal is a good option if you are looking for a V-shaped face and wish to have a small dimple in the cheek area. The procedure can be done under local anesthesia and has minimal downtime.
I do not see excess buccal fullness in the photos you provided, however there is masseteric hypertrophy. I'd recommend Botox. Hope that was helpful

Thank you for your question! Buccal fat removal is an ideal procedure for patients seeking to obtain a thinner facial shape. By taking out the fat pads a slight hollowness can be created, gently defining the lower border of your cheeks. Chin liposuction is able to remove fat located beneath...
