No buccal fat removal results 6 months post-op

I had my buccal fat removed 6 months ago and I rarely see any results. My face looks practically the same as it was before the procedure. I did gain about 8 pounds so did that extra weight gain grow my buccal fat pad back?

In some cases, the amount removed may not be significant enough to create noticeable changes, as this depends on factors such as bony structure, existing fat levels, and any potential weight fluctuations. It's important to note that the procedure is "buccal fat pad reduction" not "removal" as it is impossible and not indicated to be completely removed. Obviously, what was removed from that specific portion will not grow back. However, the remaining fat can still increase in size if a person gains weight.
