Want to get a BBL and lipo 360 - what shape am I? (Photo)

Question

I’ve considering getting a BBL and Lipo 360 I have an appointment with the surgeon and I have no idea where to even start as far as what I want. I’ve always struggled with no shape so I know that I need projection and more contoured bottom I know that they go based off of different bottom shapes what shape am I considered would I be at H or box shape? I want curves but very natural results. With lipo 360 and a bbl will I achieve the results I want? What do I need what do I ask judging from photo

Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good BBL candidate. Since the BBL includes 360 lipo (lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks) this would contour your waist and give you an hourglass figure. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience with BBLs and clean credentials. Hi Tammy!I think you could obtain a significant improvement from a liposculpture of your torso and fat transfer to your buttocks and hips. Looking at your last picture, It seems that focusing on the mid and lower back could help highlight your waist line and create a nice transition into your buttock and hip area which can be further accentuated with the fat grafting to provide more curves and the shape you are looking for. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who understands your goals and can safely perform this procedure for you. Best of luck!

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Hi, Tammyof4! Thank you for your question and photos. Actually you have a lucky body type because you don't have gluteal ptosis and inferior gluteal lines. This means that when you have the fat injection you will have natural lifted up buttocks. Also your pelvic bone is of appropriate width. Although you had an abdominoplasty before, the fat on your waist and back will be enough for a successful BBL.

I try to stay away from characterizing peoples bodies based on simplistic terms like Apple, pear or using letters.
People come in all different shapes and sizes and the goal is usually to create a balanced harmonious feminine body with smooth continuous S curves that are balanced and proportionate.
During in person consultations I recommend asking each provider to open up their portfolio and give you access to all of their before and after pictures. Being shown a few sample pictures which most likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. you should also ask the provider to look through their portfolio and find as many pictures as possible of patients who have similar body characteristics to your own in the before pictures. In your case that would include patients with previous tummy tucks or ones who lack a feminine curve and are of similar size.
You should also ask the surgeon to point out and show you results that are excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you at least a 50 sets of before and after pictures for common procedures like the BBL. Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for commonly performed procedures.
Do use a before and after pictures is by far the most accurate way to communicate and understand what your results will most likely look like. For a fat transfer make sure that after pictures were taken at least three months from the time of the procedure. Early fat transfer pictures can look very impressive but do not at all represent what the final results will look like.
I recommend all patients have multiple in person consultations with a variety of plastic surgeons in their community. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe in this includes plastic surgeons. The truth is most plastic surgeons aren’t really that great at Liposuction or fat transfer.
Finding one that is requires searching through a few of them. There’s no set number of consultations needed to find the right provider but I recommend starting with at least five consultations and simply scheduling more until you found a provider that you feel quite confident has the skill and experience to deliver the type of results you’re hoping for.
I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justify the negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews.
Continue having consultations until you found the right provider.
