Hello, I will like to know if i can hav a 360 lipo + BBL W/0 a tummy tuck.
Answer: The best for you You must acknowledge your problem is not only excess of fat, your main issue the the severe degree of saggy skin. So liposuction will deflate your abdominal skin flap and will end up way worst in terms of flaccid tissues. You are indeed candidate for Full Tummy Tuck and most likely with muscle repair and liposuction to waist and lovehandles. Dr. Cárdenas

Answer: TT + Liposuction and BBL candidate Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: BBL candidate Dear ekestria, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Candidate for Surgery Hi ekestria, Most patients who are healthy and have a moderate amount of excess fat under their skin are good candidates for surgery. However a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is BEST to determine your candidacy for surgery. Multiple views and pictures of your skin along with your detailed history including BMI, history of childbirths, etc, are vital to making a proper surgical assessment. Oftentimes patients have excess skin that would best be removed with a tummy tuck during the procedure but this is something that again, would be discussed in consultation. Dr. Andre P. Answer: Choosing procedure Choosing procedures should be based on first having a clear understanding of what the ideology or the problem is. In other words the first step is to make an accurate diagnosis and then you can come up with a treatment plan. Part of that depends what you’re trying to achieve. In regards to your abdomen there are four variables that change how the abdomen looks. These are skin laxity, excess subcutaneous fat, muscle separation from previous pregnancies and lastly access visceral or intra-abdominal fat. A tummy tuck primarily treats pregnancy related changes which are going to be skin laxity and muscle separation. liposuction only removes subcutaneous fat. visceral fat can only be reduced through weight loss. From the limited picture and somewhat limited information my best guess is the best result would come from weight loss followed by a full tummy tuck. In the end you need to recognize that variables that are not going to be treated will still be there and if you have multiple variables and don’t cheat all of them you’ll have a partial improvement. Weight loss should probably be first on the list. Losing weight will reduce visceral fat and make you a far better candidate for any surgical procedure. individuals who have thick layers of subcutaneous fat also need to recognize the importance of including all parts of the torso when opting for liposuction. For example if doing Abdurrhman 360 then it needs to also include the back and under arms. if not the transition zone can be significant in the back can look wide and wedge shaped. The difference between treated and untreated areas is reduced with weight loss prior to the procedure. To get an accurate assessment and better understanding of treatment options I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. I do not recommend traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures and I do not recommend virtual consultations if at all possible. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. Results permanent and more or less your reversible. Finding the most talented and experienced surgeon in your community is your best shot of getting a quality outcome. During in person consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. Being shown a few simple pictures most likely representing the providers previous best results of their career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of that provider. this is why patients need to be advocate for themselves and properly vent plastic surgeons by asking them to share their entire portfolio or as many before and after pictures as they’re willing to show you. ask specifically to see examples of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. This is also the best way to see you realistically what results will look like in someone who may not be an ideal candidate. Continue having in person consultations until you feel like you found the right provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
