I have a Hiatal Hernia. Can I still get a Brazilian Butt Lift? And if I can, what is the risk?

Hello, thank you for your question. A hiatal hernia is when the top part of the stomach moves upward through the diaphragm into the thoracic cavity, and prevents the esophageal - stomach junction to adequately close. In other words, a hiatal hernia will just give you reflux disease, it should be managed with a PPI like omeprazole, and don't lay flat for long periods of time. You should not have any problems whatsoever, just talk to your doctor, he/she would gladly help you out with the matter

Your condition does not prevent you from having plastic surgery now. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.
