Can I take Uber after otoplasty surgery?

I might not have someone to take me home and be with me after my surgery, the Dr said I will be awake the entire time and I was wondering if I will need someone to pick me up and accompany me the entire time.

It is possible to surgically remove the thickened cartilage and scar tissue. Please find a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in cosmetic ear surgery.

Had "ear pinning back" surgery when I was 12 and there were sutures left inside - what type of doctor should I consult?

Removal of long lasting, embedded in the cartilage sutures, may require very tedious procedure, possibly excision of strip of the cartilage where sutures are placed. Only that way you will be permanently released of this problem. Good luck.

Only on the basis of in person evaluation, board certified plastic surgeon could answer your questions in more detail. In general, removal of portion of cartilage or suture(s) itself are the options. Good luck.

It’s best to listen to your surgeon as they’re more familiar with your situation. Allow sufficient time to pass as your surgeon suggests. You can also ask them what is causing the lump and how long you should expect to wait it out.
