Unusual lump 7 months after getting my ears pinned back. Do I just need to let it continue healing? (Photo)

I had my ears pinned back 7 months ago and have had a weird lump inside my ear which doesn't seem to be reducing. It has only been there since surgery. My doctor said there is still a lot of healing to do so I just wanted to make sure this is true? Many thanks

By this time your ear should be resilient enough to resist the effects of a hit. The sensations you’re feeling may be swelling, but it’s difficult to say without an exam. If you are concerned you should see your surgeon for an assessment.
