Can I still do a breast fat transfer if there’s scarring after explant?

Question

I have asymmetrical breasts so I decided to have breast augmentation in 2008. I had capsular contracture so i had them removed and replaced with new implants in 2011. Same thing happened, had cc so I decided to have my implants removed and not replace with implants. I just had my breast implants removed 2days ago and my breasts have dimples. I am considering fat transfer in June. If i develop scar tissue in my breasts, can i still do fat transfer? Will fat transfer fix dimpling?

Yes, breast fat transfer can be done after explant.  It may improve your condition and improve the dimpling.  Fat transfers are usually good for 1/2 cup size change.  However, it can be repeated.

The fat should be able to help with dimples, even if scar tissue is present. Your surgeon can release the scar tissue before adding fat. You also might consider adding a little more volume to your breasts with fat at the same time.
