I have a long chest & bottom-heavy breasts. My skin is in excellent condition. Very tight, elastic, & no stretch marks. Will fat transfer, especially to the upper pole help plump, round out, & lift my breast? Also considering ThermiBreast/Thermitight to raise the nipple just a little bit. I just want 1-2 cm of lift. I don't want implants, scars, or loss of sensation & not trying to go bigger. Also wish my areolas were a little bit smaller, but don't know if that's possible with ThermiBreast.
Answer: Breasts The ThermiTight can help tighten and do limited lifting of your breasts. It should not be done at the same time as the fat transfer. I would suggest doing the ThermiTight first, and then later do the transfer.

Answer: Fat Grafting To Breasts I just cant find any impressive long-term results from fat grafting to the breasts. Since you just want a bit more upper pole fullness, you may be able to achieve this with grafting. Be sur see photos AFTER the swelling is gone at the 6 month mark. Heating the skin to shrink it and is an unproven technique so again, be sure you see your doctor's own results before going that route. I would not heat the breast tissues at the same time as fat grafting. Some studies suggest that fat grafting may cause changes in the breast like lumps and bumps that can be concerning on examination, and confusing on mammography, so a mammogram before surgery is recommended by the authors of at least one study. Women with fat grafting are known to require more biopsies and imaging studies.

Answer: Fat transfers and mini breast lift Your breasts appear bottom heavy and hollow on the top of the breasts. Fat transfers will help with this. However, I recommend a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The size of the areolas can be reduced to the size you desire. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Fat transfer Before you go on consults do some research on the internet and definitely look at photos of women who have had those procedures. I've done this myself and found the results to be pretty worthless. I have also looked at websites of surgeons who say fat transfer to the breast is great. Then I go to their websites and their cases are either very poor or they have no cases at all. That should tell you what you need to know.

Answer: Breast lift Dear monotropauniflora, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
