Great question! Yes you can have a rhinoplasty within the timing of your invisalign treatment. They treat different areas of the face and one does not affect the other. Even if you had traditional braces you would still be fine.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Hi @snb_! Great question. The answer is yes. You are able to undergo a rhinoplasty while undergoing invisalign treatment. Best of luck!
It is difficult to provide you with useful advice without photographs. Even with photographs you will find varying views and opinions from our community of exceptional doctors. Please upload photographs or visit a surgeon in person for more information. That being said, there should be no problems receiving a rhinoplasty during an Invisalign treatment. However, rhinoplasty requires exceptional skill on behalf of the surgeon and great communication with the patient about realistic goals and expectations.Common cosmetic concerns include a dorsal hump, wide nose, sunken nose, irregularities, and asymmetries. Functional concerns include difficulty breathing through the nose, which can and should be addressed at the same time as your rhinoplasty.Make sure to seek out the care of a board certified surgeon with extensive experience in rhinoplasty. Find someone you connect with, who will listen to your concerns and provide you with a framework for what is possible. Gary Linkov, MDRhinoplasty SpecialistManhattan
Thanks for your question. There should be no problems with having a rhinoplasty at the same time as your Invisalign. Best wishes to your new look!
Thank you for your question. There is no contraindication for undergoing rhinoplasty at the same time. As always, the best specific recommendations come from an in-person exam with a standardized set of photographs. It may be in your interest to schedule some consults with Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons to get additional perspectives and discuss options in greater detail. Best of luck!
It is certainly possible to undergo a rhinoplasty procedure while undergoing invisiline treatment. You'll have to make remove the appliance for the general anesthetic, but then it is certainly possible to put them back in place the next day.
Rhinoplasty can be done during the same time as undergoing invisalign treatment. Rhinoplasty address cartilage and soft tissue of the nose which will is not influenced by teeth position, especially the gradual small adjustments done by Invisalign. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Invisalign should not be a contraindication to undergoing a rhinoplasty..I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or a facial plastic surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Additional information about the procedure will help you decide if it is a procedure that you want to pursue. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California
Invisalign treatment should not adversely affect your rhinoplasty and both can be done as the same time. Just let your surgeon know about your use of Invisalign. Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
No problem doing your rhinoplasty along with simultaneous Invisalign treatment as they are treating completely separate anatomic areas ofmthe face. Good luck!
