I got a rhinoplasty in September 2021, and it's been a year now. I am unhappy because my nose looks crooked, it kind of leans more to one side. I am asking for your opinion and if I got a revision rhinoplasty what would be the cost, healing time, risks etc. thank you
Answer: Revision rhinoplasty Correction of deviated nose is a common cause for patients seeking revision rhinoplasty. The down time is similar to primary rhinoplasty of around 2 weeks. Cost vary but most revision rhinoplasty specialists start at around 8000 euro and increase depending on complexity and duration of the operation. Some revision rhinoplasties with rib grafting can take 6 hours. It depends on the current situation and what exactly you wish to have revised/corrected.

Answer: Would you consider a permanent non-surgical nose job? Based on your photos, you appear to have a slightly crooked nasal appearance with excessive nostril show and a low bridge. Depending on your examination, Microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for lowering your nostrils, raising your bridge, and providing a straighter nasal appearance. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty I'm sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the results of your rhinoplasty. It's not uncommon for some patients to experience asymmetry or other issues following a rhinoplasty procedure, and a revision procedure may be necessary to achieve your desired results. In terms of the cost of a revision rhinoplasty, it will depend on a variety of factors, including the extent of the procedure, the surgeon's experience and expertise, and the geographic location of the practice. The cost may also include anesthesia fees, surgical facility fees, and other associated costs. You can expect the cost of a revision rhinoplasty to be similar to that of a primary rhinoplasty. The healing time for a revision rhinoplasty will depend on the extent of the procedure, but in general, you can expect to experience some swelling and bruising for several weeks following the surgery. You may need to wear a splint or cast on your nose for the first week or two after the procedure, and you should avoid strenuous activities and exercise for several weeks. As with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks and complications associated with revision rhinoplasty, such as infection, bleeding, scarring, and anesthesia-related issues. However, working with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with revision rhinoplasty can help minimize these risks. It's important to have a consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty to evaluate your current situation and determine the best course of action to achieve your desired results. They can provide you with an estimate of the costs, recovery time, and potential risks associated with the procedure, as well as answer any other questions you may have. Best of luck !
