It's always possible to have small asymmetries after rhinoplasty. You should wait another 6 months for any more swelling to go down and if it's only a small depression, a filler can easily be used to smooth things. Be sure to discuss this with your surgeon.

Over time, the scarring of the nose will place excess pressure on the cartilage, which can lead to cartilage warping. This, couple with decreased swelling (swelling in rhinoplasty can last up to a year in the nasal tip) may reveal some cartilage irregularities over time. Depending on how severe these irregularities are, it may be necessary to have additional cartilage grafting in order to correct the deformity. However, most of these small irregularities will get better over time.

It is important to follow up with your original rhinoplasty surgeon and have them evaluate your concerns. It is possible that the hit you experienced could have caused some damage to the surgical site, or it could be a natural part of the healing process. Your surgeon will be able to assess the situation and determine the best course of action. It is always better to err on the side of caution and have a professional evaluate any concerns you may have after surgery.
