tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall.The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition.My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. Fat transfer can increase breast volume by 1/2 to maximum 1 cup if done correctly.

It does however not change the shape of the breast significantly at all.

Skipping the implants will leave you disappointed and A minimal approach to the breast lift will do the same.

You mentioned one surgeon wanted to expand your breast. I don’t believe you need a staged procedure using a breast tissue expander but that may or may not have been what was implied.

Personally I would recommend having quite a few consultations and specifically look for the ones who do the most breast surgery in your community.

Rely exclusively on in person consultations.

Read all the reviews on various physician review websites and avoid providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews.

The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than an abundance of positive reviews.

Look for providers who can confidently display hundreds of before and after pictures during a consultation including results that are ideal, average and possibly less than average to show an honest variety of outcomes.

Ideally plastic surgeons should be able to pull out before and after pictures of previous patients who have very similar breast appearance to your own.

One with sufficient experience should have no difficulty doing that.

Fat transfer is a good procedure if you don’t want to change the shape of your breast but it sounds like that is one of your primary goals.

In other words if you just want the breast to be the same size so they fill your bra evenly then fat transfer can do that.
