In 2018 I received liposuction I’m not happy with the results. I received chin fillers on January 2022. Im now considering chin liposuction. Will the liposuction interfere with my chin fillers?
Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite It's difficult to say without the benefit of an in-person evaluation. I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fillers will not interfere with chin liposuction revision Chin Liposuction and Thermitight Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia. Click on the video link below Regards Dr. J

Answer: Chin liposuction Dear lovely275, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Can go ahead with Chin liposuction Chin liposuction is done in different plane than chin fillers. In fact we regularly do chin augmentation with fat/fillers/Implant along with chin liposuction for a sharper jaw line. So you can go ahead.

Answer: Fillers and Revision Each plastic surgeon will have their own view regarding the appropriateness of doing procedures. Typically fillers for chin augmentation are not placed in the same area or fat is removed from chin and neck Liposuction. If you already have a surgeon who’s going to do the procedure then you should ask him or her. If not then I recommend scheduling in person consultations at which time you can discuss questions regarding the procedure and previous treatment history. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
