How to lower my eyebrows?

Question

I have very high eyebrows, are there any exercises or stretches that would bring my eyebrows closer to my eyelid? I would preferably avoid surgery due to cost related issues. I have tried placing my index fingers horizontally across my eyebrows and pushing down. Initially this seemed to have a slight but temporary effect but not anymore. Anything I can do as this is affecting my self confidence, as I would like lower and more masculine brows.

Botox works very well for this and I have used it before successfully.  The forehead muscle above the brow is typically injected with about 4 to 8 units of Box per side.  this will drop your brow by about 0.5 cm in my experience. Best of luck.

Botox injections can be very effective for adjusting brow position either up or down.  It is an easy office based injection, but must be repeated several times a year which can become expensive.  Check with surgeons in your area to discuss costs and options.  Good luck.

Botox or Dysport injections are easy, quick, and safe way to non-surgically lower the eyebrows.  These medications are injected into the muscle of the forehead and temporally weakens them.  These muscles are responsible for elevating the eyebrows.  When they are weakened, the eyebrows will drop.  I hope this helps.

Patients with vey high brows vey likely have a very active forehead frontalis muscle ( the muscle that raises the eyebrows). This cold be secondary to excess of upper lid skin ( when the brain detects the upper eyelid skin partially covers the eye field of vision, it sends signal to the frontalis muscle to elevate the eyebrows and therefore lift the excess of upper lid skin). Hyperactivity of the frontalis muscle could be another potential cause.Patients with over elevated eyebrows could lower them with the use of Botox. Botox by weakening the frontalis muscle, could lower the eyebrows ( to a more normal position in very specific cases).Patients interested in lowering their eyebrow with Botox should make a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specialized in cosmetic injections like Botox.

Over time your eyebrow will lower naturally. Until that time I would recommend trying Botox injections which can lower your brow to the hopefully desired appearance. No down time and lasts 3-4 months on average.

I would agree that using Botox (or Dysport or Xeomin) would be the simplest method of lowering your eyebrows.  The effect could last several months but would need to be repeated to maintain the results.

The easiest method to lower eyebrows is to use one of the neurotoxins like Botox or Xeomin to relax the frontalis muscle.  Contraction of the frontalis muscle raises the eyebrows.
